Multiple Monitors


Multiple monitors are useful on one PC. (dual or even triple video cards).
You can program on one monitor, and have a web browser open or a help file open on the second monitor.
The advantage is not just more screen space, but the actual segregation advantage of two monitors. You can maximize one application on one monitor, but you can't maximize one application on half the screen of a single monitor. (this may change when we have better operating systems or window managers.. currently I think Windows, Linux, and mac suck in regards to maximize, minimize, restore limitations. You should be able to take a window and maximize it to 50 percent of the screen, for example.).
